Attended AIPAC Policy Conference’s Annual Gala

The U.S. House met at 12:00 p.m. for legislative business.
Attended weekly meeting with Democratic Members of the House.
Met with Anti-hunger groups from Michigan to discuss their work in Southeast Michigan.
Met with AIPAC constituents to discuss the U.S.-Israel relationship.
Met with Army Corps of Engineers to discuss Great Lakes issues.
Doctors with the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists visited the office to discuss health care funding and education.

The U.S. House met at 10:00 a.m. for legislative business.
Attended weekly Leadership meeting with Committee Ranking Members.
Michigan members of the YMCAs visited the office to discuss healthy living and youth development programs.
Members of the Michigan Association of Broadcasters visited the office to discuss their legislative and regulatory priorities.
Michigan Members of the Association of Community Cancer Centers visited the office to discuss health care issues.

No votes expected in the U.S. House.
Met with Doctors and students with the American Chiropractic Association to discuss health care concerns related to military personnel, veterans, and students.
Michigan Advocates with the Healing our Waters Coalition visited the office to discuss Great Lakes issues.
Met with CEO of Oakland Livingston Human Services Agency to discuss their work in the 9th District.
Traveled home to Michigan.

Attended Lawrence Tech University’s convocation ceremony. Steven A. Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft and Michigan native, received an honorary Doctor of Computer Science and Engineering.
