Daniel Fox from Carlsbad received help with the IRS: "Congressman Mike Levin and [staff] were able to achieve what accountants, lawyers and taxpayer advocates could not! They succeeded in getting the IRS to re-examine its improper personal income tax calculation from fiscal year 2010 and return money improperly seized over the past several years. James Swigart in Solana Beach received help with the Department of Labor: "I had become completely exasperated with the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corpororation (Part of the DOL). I tried for almost a year to get them to begin sending my pension benefits that were owed to me. They were completely nonresponsive to my written application and follow-up calls and finally said my application was now "stale" and I had to reapply. I contacted Mike Levin's office and they were extremely helpful. They contacted the Department of Labor and within weeks, I received a phone call from my benefits manager saying my pension payments will begin promptly as I had requested.
