San Clemente, CA—On Friday, August 28th, Rep. Mike Levin (CA-49) hosted a town hall with constituents at San Clemente High School where he shared his solutions for the nation’s increasing energy prices and addressed a range of local issues including recent cancer cases in Ladera Ranch, protecting San Clemente’s beaches, and maintaining the LOSSAN rail corridor. During the town hall, Rep. Levin answered questions on additional pressing issues facing the district, state, and nation.

Rep. Levin also welcomed Aaron McCall, California Environmental Voters’ Federal Advocacy Coordinator, who talked about how the Trump Administration’s policies are increasing gas and utility prices. He then shared the federal policy proposals that would most effectively reduce energy costs for Southern Californians.

Rep. Levin hosts monthly town halls to hear directly from constituents who want to ask him questions. This was Rep. Levin’s 138th town hall since entering Congress in 2019.
