Join me for a virtual town hall on San Onofre TOMORROW

Dear Neighbor,

There’s a lot happening in Washington and across our district, including the creation of our new bipartisan Spent Nuclear Fuel Solutions Caucus. Towards that end, I’m having another virtual town hall this Friday afternoon with the former Chairman of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission and co-chair of our SONGS Task Force, Greg Jaczko. See below for more details on how to participate.

You can submit a question for me by filling out this form.

American Rescue Plan Relief is Here!

The pandemic has placed a heavy strain on working families, and I was proud to help pass the Child Tax Credit as part of the American Rescue Plan. Last week, the first monthly payments were sent out! In our district, 124,800 children in could benefit from the advance monthly payments. That’s 68.9% of all children in CA-49.

Are you wondering if you qualify? Please take advantage of this opportunity, and use this tool to check your eligibility.

Did you know that the American Rescue Plan also provided $21.55 billion for emergency rental assistance? In California, you can be reimbursed for 100 percent of unpaid rent and utilities dating back to April 1, 2020, as well as upcoming payments. More information on this relief here.
